I’m putting the weekday morning entries on hold for the time being, as I have another project I’m working on which I’d like to be able to talk about here. The Brogan 100 distracts my time and your attention, so it has to move away from center stage. This post may seem a little premature- it’s not like I’m getting thousands of hits a month or anything. But I’ve gotten what I consider a decent 800 new visitors in the last 30 days, without doing try nearly as hard as I should be. Here’s where it’s coming from: Commenting on Blogs By far, [...] A short list of tips I use to improve efficiency and save time. One of the greatest things I’ve discovered is that if I need something to happen, somebody, somewhere has already figured out how to do it, and a lot of the time, they’re providing it for free. Ridiculous. The most important brand strategy is consistency. Fonts, colors, style, appearance… even clothing. Google Reader. Batch. Skim. Tag. Tweet. Clear. Ten things I enjoy doing, most of which I should stop. A very short list of things I do well, and a longer list of things I need help with. Any ideas or suggestions? First of all, a really deep niche can only be served online. Only in the full universe of the internet will there be enough interest to sustain a deep niche business. That’s the whole Long Tail thing. Therefore, deep niche service is primarily an SEO function. |
